History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Ozyman was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ozyman grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ozyman. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ozyman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
