History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A true patriot, Ar-Beka would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ar-Beka lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors.
