Personality: Gruk hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Tethren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
