Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his small blue hat.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has wavy golden hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. A true patriot, Rangrim would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Glassblower again.
