History: She was born into a rich family. Her childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but she was a colossal failure. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Architect but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Architect responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gunter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and further expansion of business

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He sports a flattop fur cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gale fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
