History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Art embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Alice does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alice grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Alice was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Umpen studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Cecily was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
