History: Emerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Watson was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Watson abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Beatrice was born the youngest of three triplets. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She has worked as a Layabout like her father before her.

History: She is a Yochlol in disguise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
