Description: He wears a grey armored body suit, with a simple yellow line shooting up and back down. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His golden hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 88. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

His auburn hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Chay and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in violet turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with black slacks, and is pretty ugly. His head has been shaved. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears a red vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his red boots flare out at the collars. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Weaver born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and sabotage a competitor

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Birel's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Birel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Birel was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
