History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Giselle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Waywocket alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
