His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Carrie is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Carrie was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Carrie's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Smoking grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She struck the Courier job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Sybil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
