Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shivering embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Animal Trainer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shivering fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has a crush on the local seamstress

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Smoking hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing a tight pastel one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise copper.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

History: Astaro lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder father left her crippled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
