History: Alain was born the youngest of three triplets. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Finellen was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Finellen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Thiala has worked very hard to control her curse. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and wants to raise his children well
