History: Therlin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Therlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Therlin. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Layabout business.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her father struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Jade was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He tends to his Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
