History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Orianna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Orianna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
