Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emerald never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
