History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gardain grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bilbron was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bilbron fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
