History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Shadow was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He works hard and plays hard.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Crown-heir responsibilities is difficult.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Shipwright and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Matilda's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When Matilda reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He wears a yellow tunic with blue highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around his shoes, and he perpetually has his shield ready. He has golden hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
