History: Ulblyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ulblyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Panana grew up listening to her father's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Murook grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Murook. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
