History: Valafar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Valafar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Elegant abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. A true patriot, Yurgunn would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Flogg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flogg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
