Description: He stands about 5'4" and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is brown and very short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
