Description: A 6'7" eastern man, he very much looks the part of a Spy. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the east to a Spy, Gruk learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Spy.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Thradal enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to protect his home

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His childhood dream was to be a Baker, but he was a colossal failure. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's in love; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a brown costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Gunter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Oloric was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
