History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mary was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
