History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Art grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Merla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
