History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Vapula has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of a Glassblower, who enjoyed hunting, Oppleby was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mason born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hamil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Mason soon after.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Flame was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flame's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Flame and her spouse have recently divorced.
