History: Ombul hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: Standing 4'9", this woman wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a warhammer on her belt. Her red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. Her silver hair is lengthy. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tomph embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Orcs.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tomph grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tomph. Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Althaea abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Murgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Therlin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
