Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now owns his own business.

She has done her best to style her chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Helen was born with her mother's beautiful face. Helen was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Stableman. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Skirt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult

Description: An older man who wears a black cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. This black eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Biri lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
