History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Mella took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She works hard and plays hard.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Description: She wears a red coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon her head. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vani embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Vani was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vani's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Shava was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Detective, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
