History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Gubu was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Syllin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
