History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hrathy was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a crown-heir again

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears bulky tan painted plate armor. He carries a battered dagger and tarnished shortbow as well. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Azaki embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Makaria fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Morthos is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Farmer, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
