History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Tim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cockaby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cockaby studied abroad. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Malquis is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
