History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Fabien was born the youngest of three triplets. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Personality: Quarethon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is light but she possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. She wears dull red sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed mace, just in case. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Chenna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Chenna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She carries a battered greatsword and tarnished whip as well. Her golden hair is knotted and matted. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born in the west. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vaina embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She got into the Sculptor business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sculptor for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand her business

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Revenge; and she has money and likes to spend it
