History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kilia was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is an amazing painter.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Orla was born with her mother's beautiful face. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
