History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
