His mother taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rangrim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
