Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Being a Dilettante kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
