Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a longsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair is long and red with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Sarah was born the youngest of three triplets. Sarah was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sarah decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This southern man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is blonde and very short. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Ur-Masi is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ur-Masi liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Pyra was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Pyra's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: The child of a Stableman, who enjoyed hunting, Aura was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This woman wears baggy grey pantaloons and a white scarf, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her hair is short and brown. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Katherine would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Beloril lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
