A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Jabbie hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in flail use. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Aline reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sculptor, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has never given up on her singing dream.
