History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Elegant was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gimble's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Gimble took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
