His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the west to a Fletcher, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He tends to his Fletcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Marbas hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Emeny took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
