History: Barfa lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a kukri on his belt. His white hair is long and unkept. His ears are large.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He takes great joy in being the best Hunter in town.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Hunter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mantus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Ridaro hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A freak accident while working with her Jeweler mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Fonkin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Fonkin was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He struck the Interpreter job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Moon grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Morana's homeland. Morana decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
