History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Azaki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Galiena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Galiena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and expand his business

History: She was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Avice's homeland. Avice decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Morana hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting gnolls, the young Morana began to lead the lost caravan. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
