History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Altho's homeland. Altho decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Sailor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion
