History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Siffress was born the youngest of three triplets. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
