History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Jaxi took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Hlin was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hlin decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
