He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student she started as a Seamstress, but she got bored and became a Bounty Hunter. She has achieved small success as a Bounty Hunter.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Guy took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a great chef.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Arha was taken on many hunting expeditions. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
