Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She is portly but not overly obese. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her skin is flawless and her violet eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Claira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.
History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Roywyn learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roywyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roywyn was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Lewis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lewis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Nelkin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a Seamstress, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Doctor soon after.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with violet slacks. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His black hair is heavily combed to the left. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His ears are large.
Personality: Trey is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trey. Being a Miner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
