History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. After a long history of fighting, Azaki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
