History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A true patriot, Mella would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has a hunchback. Her long white hair reaches down to her waist. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Myria embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She bought a scythe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Elven compassion.

History: She was born in a small desert village. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bethrynna grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her ceremonial dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. Her fur is lavender and curly. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Moon was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Merchant. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Roge's homeland. Roge decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
