History: Born in the north to a Mason, Symma learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hethress fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears dull blue sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed sickle, just in case. Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Althaea is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Althaea was taken on many hunting expeditions. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She tends to her Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gildmak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
