Personality: Elaim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has no fur. His fierce copper eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Mason kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a club on his belt. His head has been shaved. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Kilia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Lorilla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lorilla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Healer for the past few years.
